Have you ever finished a killer custom race livery, only to botch the final mounting job by drilling your body holes off-center or crooked? The PROTOform Crosshair Magnetic Body Mounting Kit (PRM603200) eliminates body post alignment guesswork entirely. Using high-powered pinpoint magnets, this simple yet highly effective ecosystem marks the exact position of your chassis body posts through any painted or clear polycarbonate body.

Designed primarily for On-Road, Touring, and Drift car chassis, it ensures flawless centering from left to right as well as precise fore/aft positioning to keep your vehicle's handling characteristics optimal.

How it works:

Slip a Crosshair Body Post Cap onto each of your 4 chassis body posts and lock them in place with a body clip (not included).
Set your un-drilled body on top of the posts and align the wheel wells perfectly with the front and rear axles.
Hold a Marking Magnet on the outside of the shell close to the posts—the magnet will instantly lock itself onto the precise center point of the cap underneath.
Mark the body post position through the guide hole on the magnet using a fine-tip pen.
Remove the magnets and cleanly cut your mounting holes using a body reamer or power drill.
